Chiropractic AdjustmentsSpine care designed to help relieve pain, reduce stiffness, and improve mobility.

Chiropractic adjustments may help improve joint movement and ease back or neck discomfort. Dr. Garay, D.C., selects techniques based on your examination, symptoms, and comfort.

Techniques include:

  • Diversified Technique: A hands-on approach using quick, controlled movements to specific joints to help improve mobility and reduce discomfort.
  • Activator Technique: Uses a handheld instrument to deliver a gentle, targeted impulse to a joint, offering a lower-force alternative to traditional manual adjustments.
  • Drop-Table Technique: Uses a specialized chiropractic table with sections that gently lower during an adjustment, allowing for controlled joint movement.

Gentle Joint Mobilization

A traditional adjustment isn't always necessary. Depending on your needs and comfort, gentle joint mobilization may be used instead. This involves slow, controlled movements to help improve joint mobility without a quick thrust.

Myofascial & Soft-Tissue TherapyHands-on care for muscle tension, soreness, and tenderness.

Treatment focuses on muscles and surrounding soft tissues that feel tight, sore, or tender. Techniques may combine hands-on pressure, guided movement, or specialized tools.

Techniques include:

  • Active myofascial release (pin-and-stretch): Combines focused hands-on pressure with movement to help address muscle tension, discomfort, and restricted movement.
  • Instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization (IASTM): Uses specialized tools to apply targeted pressure and gliding movements to soft tissues. Commonly known as muscle scraping.
  • Myofascial decompression (cupping therapy): Uses gentle suction to lift the skin and underlying soft tissues, with the goal of easing muscle tension and discomfort.
Movement & Exercise ProgramsGuided exercises and stretches to help build strength, improve flexibility, and increase range of motion.

Your exercise program focuses on movements that support your daily activities, work, or recreation. You’ll also receive clear instructions for exercises to practice at home between visits.

Class IV Laser TherapyLaser treatment to help ease muscle and joint pain and improve range of motion.

Laser therapy uses light energy delivered to a targeted area. It may be included alongside hands-on care and exercise as part of your treatment plan.

Electrical StimulationA supportive treatment focused on pain relief and comfort.

Small pads placed on the skin deliver electrical impulses to the treatment area. Options include transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) and interferential current (IFC).
